2. Scope of the service

ExpanderHub offers tools that help professionals and companies create and share digital business cards, manage networking information and interact with business opportunities. Depending on the selected features and account status, the Platform may allow users to:

• create and publish a digital business card with contact details, company information, photos, videos, social links and QR code;
• access a dashboard for managing the card, connections, meetings, opportunities, messages and notifications;
• save or organize received business cards and contacts;
• create, join or manage online meeting-related information;
• send or receive messages and replies where such features are enabled;
• interact with opportunities and networking features available in the community.

3. Eligibility and account registration

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating a card or account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur through your account. You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

The Platform is intended for professional and business networking use. By using it on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to provide the relevant information and to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization where applicable.

4. User content and profile information

You are responsible for the Content you submit or publish through the Platform. You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to upload or display that Content, including personal data, photos, videos, logos, contact details, company information and third-party links.

You must not upload or share Content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, spam-like or otherwise harmful. We may remove, restrict or suspend Content or accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law or the rights of others are breached.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• violate applicable Romanian, EU or international law;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a company;
• collect, scrape, copy or harvest data from the Platform without authorization;
• send spam, unsolicited commercial messages or harmful communications;
• upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or disrupt the Platform;
• reverse engineer, copy or misuse the Platform’s software, design, database structure or content except as legally permitted;
• publish confidential information or personal data about others without appropriate authorization.

6. Visibility of digital business cards and networking data

Digital business cards are designed to be shared. Information included on a card may be visible to people who receive the link, scan the QR code or access the card through Platform features. You should only include information that you are comfortable sharing in a professional context.

Connections, meetings, opportunities, messages and notifications may be visible to other users where the feature requires interaction. Visibility may depend on your settings and the functionality available at the time.

7. Premium features, payments and changes

Certain features may be offered as paid, premium, trial or restricted-access features. The available features, prices, payment terms and billing intervals are displayed before purchase or activation where applicable. We may add, change or discontinue features, provided this does not affect rights already granted for a paid period except where necessary for legal, security or technical reasons.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, fees are charged in accordance with the payment terms displayed in the payment flow. Any refunds, cancellations or withdrawal rights apply according to mandatory law and the specific purchase conditions communicated to you.

8. Third-party services and links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, video platforms, payment processors, analytics tools, communication tools or meeting services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, design, branding, software, structure, graphics, icons and original content made available by ExpanderHub are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reproduce or create derivative works based on the Platform.

You retain ownership of your own Content. By uploading or submitting Content, you grant ExpanderHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and process that Content only as necessary to provide, secure, improve and operate the Platform.

10. Availability and changes to the Platform

We aim to keep the Platform available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability. Maintenance, updates, security incidents, hosting issues or third-party failures may affect access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Platform for operational, legal, security or business reasons.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ExpanderHub does not guarantee that using the Platform will generate business opportunities, meetings, sales, partnerships or specific commercial results. Any interactions between users are their own responsibility.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpanderHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of data, reputational harm or damages resulting from third-party services, unauthorized use of accounts or user-provided Content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by mandatory law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, violate applicable law, create security risk, misuse the Platform or harm other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Certain provisions, including intellectual property, liability, privacy and dispute provisions, survive termination where relevant.

14. Personal data

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. These documents explain what data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have under GDPR.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply. Disputes will be handled by the competent Romanian courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
